Students may opt to participate in the International Peer Mentor Program (when available) and spend a total of eight (8) hours during the
quarter in conversation with one of SFCC’s
international students. These meetings generally occur at the International
Café on Wednesday afternoons, where lunch will be provided to the student
pairs. Details will be discussed in class in the 2nd week of the
Mentors and ESL student pairs will be assigned during the IPM meeting the second week of the quarter. Students who choose this option will also receive eight hours Service Learning credit toward their graduation requirements.
